Apparently you need to use photoshop on your orchids, then they’ll glow a little. 🙂 This is SO close to what I asked her for, and she hasn’t even read the book. 🙂

That’s a very kind way of putting things. I’m sure I was a total pain in her ass. We exchanged nearly 40 e mails. Yikes. She did wonders, I just hope I wasn’t too painful to work with.
if you were too much, she would have passed on the job. no one has to put up with nasty and yuck. doubt you were that bad and certain it was understood this was your first time. she was extra gentle with you, and desired to please you too. sounds like a true and professional artist.
She really was so professional, and so kind. I just hope she thinks the same thing about me. The last thing I want is to have the reputation of being horrible to work with. You know? I know, I know, I can’t control what other people think about me, but I can certainly try my hardest to be likable. 🙂

no doubt that LSB, your current fans, and word of mouth (or type in this case), will serve you well. just like a second helping of mashed taters 🙂 once you develop a base, then by your next book, it will seem much easier. kinda like once you have a baby, the next one is not as much of a mystery.

any zucchini ideas for me right now, i might bake again later.
Made zucchini chocolate chip cookies earlier, and haven’t baked the winter squash from my garden yet, but when I do, cookies, pancakes and pies are in my future. 🙂 Zucchini brownies are always a crowd pleaser in my house too. Wait, did you want healthy suggestions?
yes, i always want healthy suggestions. i made zucc flax choco muffins and blackbean java brownies but still need more ideas. was looking to do chocolate cake…maybe? did choco pumpkin caramel bit cookies. any recipes to share for me to use 3 zucc… which zucc choc chip cookie recipe do you like?
any bread or savory ideas? i made some killer blackbean cheese breads earlier in week. i am pretty tired but might cook a bit. any quick breads that can be adapted to muffins or made simply and healthy is up my oven! *ahhhhhhhh*

Ok, so here’s the zucchini ‘brownies’ recipe I made, but it turns out more like cake for sure. I don’t have any savory breads…I usually go sweet. 🙂 I have a zucchini chocolate chip recipe from my MIL that is really great, perhaps I’ll post it with the others. 🙂 BTW, you can always grate and freeze zucchini. 2 C frozen/thawed is = to 1 C. fresh in recipes (squeeze out about half the liquid. It’s not quite as good, but better than letting them go to waste. Right? 🙂 K, I’m off to update my other blog, and probably post a recipe. 🙂

Very tantalizing!! Your cover just draws me in. That’s exactly what a good cover should do. I can’t tell you how many times I passed over a book because the cover didn’t speak to me right away. This is awesome!
I feel the same way about covers! My cover artist was probably pulling her hair out by the time we were done…but it turned out exactly like I wanted it. 🙂 I’m glad you love it too!
